Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they govern your booking and stay at our properties. By confirming your reservation, paying the deposit and rental fees, you agree to comply with these terms:

Reservations & Payment
1.1. Booking Confirmation: Reservations are fully confirmed/reserved upon receipt of full payment and the required deposit. We accept no less than a 2-night reservation.  For extensions, you must notify staff that you would like to extend prior to your last night and pay prior to your last day, and the extension can be for no less than 2 nights. Management reserves the right to make decisions based on previous rental history payment compliance.
1.2. Cautionary Fee/Security Deposit: A minimum of N50,000 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. Management has the right to increase the cautionary fee/security deposit.

1.3. Full Payment: The balance must be paid within 24 hours after receiving your invoice.
1.4. Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers only.
1.5. Guest Identity Verification: To ensure the safety and security of all guests, Unity Global Ventures requires all guests to provide a valid form of identification prior to check-in. Acceptable forms of ID include an international passport, driver’s license, or a government-issued ID from the guest’s country of residence. This must be submitted no less than 48hrs prior to your check-in date.  Failure to provide valid identification may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
2.1.
Cancellation by Guest:

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of payment are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours after payment will not be refunded.

2.2. Cancellation by Company: In the rare event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and will provide either an alternative accommodation or a full refund.

Check-In and Check-Out
3.1. Check-In Time: 1200
3.2. Check-Out Time: 1200
3.3. Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Cautionary Fee/Security Deposit
4.1. A cautionary fee/security deposit of N50,000 (minimum) is required at the time of booking to cover potential damages or losses. The cautionary fee/security deposit will be refunded minus any cost incurred to repair, replace or fix any damaged items and or the removal of items from the rental. If there is any smoking, parties or damage to the property, the full cautionary fee/security deposit will be forfeited and non-refundable. Management reserves the right to increase the cautionary fee/security deposit.
4.2. The cautionary fee/security deposit will be refunded within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damage is found.

Guest Responsibilities / House Rules

5.1. No Smoking: Smoking inside the units or on the grounds of the property is strictly prohibited. If it is found that smoking has occurred, the cautionary fee/security deposit will become non-refundable.
5.2. Pets: Pets are not allowed under any circumstances. If it is found that there are pets in or around the units, the cautionary fee/security deposit will become non-refundable.
5.3. Parties and Events: Parties or events are not allowed under any circumstances.  If it is found that parties and events have been held in or around the units, the cautionary fee/security deposit will become non-refundable.
5.4. Noise Policy: Please respect the neighbors by keeping noise levels down during quiet hours from 2200 to 0900.
5.5. Cleanliness: Please wash all your dishes, including pots and pans, and do not leave excessive trash before checking out. If there is any damage or excessively dirty items that can no longer be used, the cautionary fee/security deposit will be impacted, and you might be responsible for paying additional fees to remedy the loss.
5.6. Unit Items: All items, including but not limited to fixtures, painting, dishes, pots, cutlery, pans, towels, and sheets, must remain in the unit at all times.  If it’s in the unit upon check-in, it must stay in the unit and in good working condition upon checkout. If any items are found missing, the cautionary fee/security deposit will be impacted and you might be responsible for paying additional fees to remedy the loss.
5.7. Extending Your Stay:
If you are extending your stay, payment must be paid 2 days prior to your checkout date or management reserves the right to rent the unit to other guests.
5.8. Power: UGV cannot be held responsible for when the national grid provides power.  Each unit has backup solar power.  Guests should make the most of available solar power when the national grid is unavailable, including only using electrical items when necessary. Guests may use the on-site generator, which will be fueled at the guest’s expense. 
5.9. Guests must keep the property and its contents in good condition.
5.10. Any damage or loss must be reported immediately.
5.11. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings; the company is not liable for lost or stolen items.
5.12. Guests are responsible for adhering to all Terms and Conditions outlined in this policy.  

Liability
7.1. Unity Global Ventures will not be liable for injuries, accidents, or losses incurred during the stay.
7.2. Guests are encouraged to have personal travel insurance.

Property Use
8.1. The property may only be used for residential purposes by registered guests.
8.2. Any illegal activities on the premises will result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.

Maintenance & Repairs
9.1. If any maintenance issues arise, please notify us promptly, and we will address them as quickly as possible.
9.2. Refunds or discounts will not be given for unforeseen technical or maintenance issues (e.g., power outages).

Force Majeure
Unity Global Ventures shall not be held liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including, but not limited to, power outages due to national grid failures, natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information will only be used for booking purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
12.1. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved amicably through negotiation.
12.2. If unresolved, disputes shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria.

Acceptance of Terms

By paying for and confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
